‘I’m a conservative, but my essays are very liberal’

A study of 1,000 Republican and Republican-leaning university students has discovered that almost three-quarters of these have actually withheld their views that are political course for fear their grades would suffer.

The poll that is online carried out in belated August solely when it comes to university Fix by College Pulse, an internet study and analytics business centered on university students. Just students whom self-identify as Republican or Republican-leaning had been polled.

Issue asked:

“Have you ever withheld your views that are political course for fear that your particular grades would suffer?” Seventy-three per cent of pupils who identification as “strong Republican” reported that they had, while 71 % of pupils whom identify as “weak Republican” said good argumentative essay topics yes.

Also students who identify as Republican-leaning independents indicated they’ve kept quiet: 70 per cent reported they will have withheld their governmental views to protect their grades.

Many studies on the years are finding that academia is dominated by teachers whom identify as liberal or who will be registered Democrats.

A large majority of right-of-center students are concerned that openly disagreeing with their educators will have negative repercussions, with only about 30 percent responding they do not withhold their views with that, The College Fix’s new poll results indicate that, under this atmosphere.
